- Location — Only your city and state are shown. Your full street address is never displayed publicly
- Trades — Your trade specializations appear as badges, helping others understand your expertise
- Performance Metrics — Your rating, review count, and jobs completed are visible to demonstrate your track record

Where Your Profile Appears
Your profile information is displayed in several places across Trusted Bench:
Find Pros Directory
When other pros browse the Find Pros page, your profile card appears in the directory. The card shows your name, company, location, trades, rating, and jobs completed.
Pro Detail Page
Clicking on your card opens your full profile page, which includes:
- Complete header with name, company, and location
- All your trade specializations (including sub-specialties)
- Performance metrics (jobs completed, jobs assigned, rating)
- Reviews from other pros who've worked with you
- Network presence (mutual connections, Verified/New Member status)
- Contact Pro button to access your phone and email
Your Bench
When another pro adds you to their bench, they can see your profile information and manage your status (Active, Paused, or remove you). Being in someone's bench means you may receive job offers when they route referrals.
Job Offer Notifications
When you receive a job offer, the job owner's information is included so you know who's sending the referral. Similarly, when you send jobs, your information appears to the pros receiving offers.
Managing Your Profile
You can update your profile information anytime through Settings in your dashboard.
How to Update
- Go to Settings in the dashboard sidebar
- Select the Profile tab
- Update any of the following fields:
- Company Name

Changes to text fields are saved automatically as you type. Address changes require selecting a valid address from the Google Places suggestions.
What You Can Control
- Website and Bio — These are optional. Leave them blank if you don't want them displayed
- Business Address — You must provide an address for job matching, but only city and state are shown publicly
- Trades — Update your specializations in the Trades tab to control what services you're known for

Keep Information Current
Update your profile when your business changes—new phone number, different location, or expanded services. Accurate information ensures smooth communication with other pros.
Use a Professional Bio
Your bio appears on your detail page. Use it to highlight your experience, service areas, and what makes your business stand out. Keep it concise but informative.

FAQ

No. All pros on Trusted Bench have visible profiles. This transparency is fundamental to how the platform builds trust between professionals. However, sensitive information like your full address and payment details are always protected.
Who can see my phone number and email?
Any logged-in pro can access your contact information by clicking the "Contact Pro" button on your profile page. This enables professionals to reach out about potential referrals or collaboration.
Can I see who viewed my profile?
Currently, Trusted Bench doesn't show profile view analytics. You'll know someone is interested when they add you to their bench or send you a job offer.
What if I don't want to share my website or bio?
Website and bio are optional fields. If you leave them blank, they simply won't appear on your profile. The required fields (name, company, phone, address) cannot be hidden.
Does my profile show on Google or other search engines?
No. Trusted Bench profiles are only visible to logged-in users on the platform. They are not indexed by search engines.
How do I update my profile photo?
Your profile photo comes from your account authentication provider. To change it, update your photo with the service you used to sign up (Google, etc.).
What happens to my profile if I'm removed from a bench?
Your profile remains visible in the Find Pros directory. The pro who removed you can re-add you at any time, and other pros can still discover and add you to their benches.
